Miguel A. Núñez, Jr. - "Mr. Abuser" (web)

Miguel A. Núñez, Jr. is an American actor. He is best known for his supporting roles in The Return of the Living Dead and Life and a leading role in Juwanna Mann. Núñez was born in New York City and raised by his grandparents in Wilson, North Carolina. His first major screen role was the supporting role of Spider in The Return of the Living Dead, and his first major starring role was that of Marcus Taylor on the CBS series Tour of Duty, where he was a main cast member for all three seasons of the show. He later appeared on the UPN show Sparks as well as in movies such as Juwanna Mann. Núñez also held the recurring role of Zach in the second season of the Friends spinoff, Joey.

Angela Blair is another multi‐talented artist to come out of the great state of Texas. Miss Blair is a powerful and anointed singer, songwriter and entertainer, with the gift to inspire while spreading the word of love. She has dedicated her ministry of “love and inspiration” to helping couples stay in love and those singles looking for love by offering a Godly perspective through music. Taking from her own life experiences, she can engage an audience through any genre of music and create one, if necessary. Her live performances are “breathtaking!”

Blair attended Booker T. Washington High, Dallas’ art‐magnate school, known for fostering such talent as Erykah Badu and Norah Jones. Her gift for singing and entertaining was evident at a very young age. At the tender age of seven, family members and friends could hear her belting out everything from Aretha Franklin to Whitney Houston. Church was always a major part of Blair’s upbringing. She secretly practiced, with her cousin and pianist, after church service each Sunday. At age eleven, Blair eventually put her lessons to the test by taking first place in a contest hosted by the church, as she sang Amazing Grace, in front of enthusiastic church members. By the age of fifteen, she opened her first concert for gospel legends, the Mighty Clouds of Joy and 11-‐time Grammy Award winning artist Shirley Caesar.

Amber Renae Bush - "Innocence" 

 Amber Renae Bush was born on January 27, 1987. She began performing at the early age of 6.  She was a UPN 21 kid at just 9 years old. She began to compete in competition theatre (forensics) until her senior year in high school, winning countless awards and honors including UIL best actress, twice. She graduated with honors from South Grand Prairie high and got accepted into The University of North Texas and their dance and theatre program. While at UNT she founded an African American theatre organization called, The C.A.S.T (collaborating actors singers and talents). The organization has produced over 20 original stage plays since 2006. She was crowned Miss Denton county plus America where she used "The CAST" as her platform. She went on to win 4th runner up for Miss Texas plus America. She was DFWs Dream-girl winner where her talents earned her the opportunity to sing duet with ms. Jennifer Hudson during her 2009 concert year. She graduated from UNT with a bachelors of arts in theatre with an emphasis in performing on December 18, 2010. she was recently seen in american idol finalist and Broadway actor, Todrick Hall's traveling musical, "Fairytale'd" where she played lead character, "Yvette". She is excited to see where God takes her theatre career! Amber Renae's motto in life is, "performing is my passion, theatre is my ministry, Jesus is my life!"

Kimberly Colwell - "Mother"

Kimberly is a native of Marshall, Texas. She left Marshall after completing high school to study Theatre in Dallas Texas. She now resides in Grand Prairie Texas where she has been a constant and vibrant fixture at the St. John Church of Grand Prairie/South Lake TX, since joining 20 years ago. She has enjoyed performing in past productions at St. John, such as “The Spirits of St. John Past, Present and Future”,  “I Want My Stuff Back”, “Desperate Housewives” “Christmas Just Ain’t Christmas” “Christmas Family Reunion”  & “Hem Of His Garment” as well as Christmas banquets. Some of her professional credits include, “Nothing But The Blood”,” Friday Night Lights” “God’s Favorite,” “The Jury Room,” “Barefoot in the Park” and “Never Turn Back”.  She also was featured in two TV commercials for Standard Insurance Agency. Since being led by the Holy Spirit to co-found the “Use Me For Thee” Drama Ministry, she has come to realize even more that her purpose is to be the nobody, telling everybody about A SOMEBODY who can save Anybody through the Ministry Of Drama. She has stayed true to her gifts and has labored humbly and faithfully in the areas where God has called her to serve. She feels truly blessed to be the proud wife of Quinton Colwell and the proud parent of Ashley Carter-Colwell.

Tonya Neal - "Discovery" 

Tonya Neal is making her debut to the stage with Faces in the Mirror. She was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, a graduate of Olney High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now resides in Dallas, Texas.  Tonya spent six (6) years in the Air Force after which she attended Indiana University where she received an Associates and Bachelors degree. She is the Director of Communications at Friendship-West Baptist Church, in Dallas, Texas where Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III is senior pastor. Tonya is the co-creator and producer of the Freddy Haynes Unscripted radio show on Radio One’s 94.5 K-Soul FM. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree at Dallas Theological Seminary.  She has a daughter, Anijah who is a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.  During her down time, Tonya enjoys teaching the Word of God and going to the movies. She feels that her ultimate calling in life is to creatively communicate the mission and vision of Jesus Christ through whatever vehicle God calls her to do so – and at this time, that vehicle is this emotionally riveting stage play that provides her the opportunity to step outside of her comfort zone to minister in a unique way-the stage.

 

GidgetTaylorGidget Taylor - "Broken"

Gidget attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Arts Magnet) for theater and went on to further her career by graduating from KD Studio where she received her degree in Acting. Her professional career consists of work on Dallas J.R. Returns, Walker Texas Ranger, Leap of Faith, Wishbone, Nike, Dallas J.R. Returns and many theatrical plays. With many years of experience her desire is to be a light and deliver a message through her God given "Gift".

Autumn Cannon - "Understudy (All Roles)" 

Autumn Cannon, a Mississippi native, graduated from Jackson State University with a B.S. degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in speech and dramatic arts. She also holds a Master’s degree in education from Argosy University. She performed in 1997 at the Apollo Theatre in New York. In 1998, She landed a small role in the movie titled, The Chamber, written from John Grisham’s book. In 2007, she landed roles in such gospel stage plays as, Tell It To Your Next Wife, The Cry of Rachel, Thorns, and others. Autumn was also casted in Fred Hammond’s movie titled Oak Cliff 97214.

Terrance Johnson - "Angel of Damnation"

Terrance Johnson brings much life, energy, and passion to the art of dance from Alexandria, LA.  A graduate of the Southern University A & M College at Baton Rouge, LA; Terrance has achieved great success within his artistic career. He received his dance training at the Dallas Black Dance Academy, the official school of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and the Ballet Academy of Texas.  His pre-professional studies include intensive training with the Deeply Rooted Dance Theater of Chicago, IL where he was offered a position within the apprentice company.  Throughout his career Terrance has been afforded the opportunity to train and perform the works of renowned artist including Milton Myers, Christopher Huggins, Kevin Iega Jeff, and Chuck Davis. Terrance is a former principal dancer of Exhibit Dance Collective under the artistic direction of his mentor Michelle Gibson. Currently he is a member of Dallas Black Dance Theatre II where he serves as Assistant Artistic Director. Terrance is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Yasmine Lockette - "Angel of Grace"

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Miss Lockette graduated from Brenau University with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance. She received initial training from Norma’s Academy of Dance thru Djana Bell and Price Performing Arts Center under the direction of Andrea Price where she served in the company for 10 years, experiencing the joy of traveling and competing around the globe. She received further training from the American Dance Festival (ADF), the Florida Dance Festival, Georgia’s Governors’ Honors Program, and Ailey’s Summer Intensive Program. She has worked with many noted choreographers such as Troy Powell, Christopher Huggins, Ray Mercer, Milton Myers, Mia Michaels, Nathan Trice, Mark Morris, Adam Parsons, Savion Glover, and many others. Also, in 2004, she was featured in a 4 piece spread for the popular dance catalog “Curtain Call’. Her journey continued on to Dallas in 2008 when she joined Dallas Black Dance Theatre II as a performing member and later assumed the duties as the performing ensemble director for Bloom, as well as the academy’s Lead Teacher. She has been an instructor for Price Performing Arts Center, Gainesville School of Ballet, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and now Junior Players, Big Thought, and Contemporary Ballet Dallas.

Keith Douglas - "The Husband"

Beginning in the small town of Grambling, LA, is where Keith Douglas began entertaining family and friends. He went on to play collegiate and professional basketball before he realized that his passion was in making people laugh. After hosting his first stepshow in 2004,he began to grace stages and concert halls hosting and entertaining small groups to large crowds. One of his crowning achievements was hosting the “Klash of the Greeks” Stepshow, which was one of the largest shows in the state of Texas. He began to host high end fashion shows, to charity events, stageplays.  Begin a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington, and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. helped him begin to perfect and hone in on his craft.  He began acting in 2006 with his first film “Leaving Town” as he portrayed the character of Max. He next went on to appear in 20th Century Fox’s Prison Break. He has recently appeared in the Fox television series called “Good Guys” and Jerry Bruckhiemers “The Chase”. He moved to the stage in 2007 with his first theatrical performance as “Cesar” in G meets G. He has gone on to appear in other plays such as, “Night at the Pythian Temple”, “A Christmas Carol” as Bob Cratchitt, “Through the Fire”, and “Church Picnic” and “Torn Between 2 Lives” with Dave Hollister, Yarbough and Peoples, and Ivory Tabb. He just finished “No Business in Show Business” stageplay at the legendary Bishop Arts Theatre. He has continued to move his talents to film, where he has appeared in several national commercials such as Nascar and NFL Films. “. He was also part of the dynamic stage play with Fred Hammond and Tony Grant of the group formely know as AZ Yet called “Shes Not Our Sister.”, where he  portrayed the loving boyfriend “DeAndre”. He just wrapped the play with 2 Time Grammy Winner Jennifer Holiday and Tyler Perry’s Christian Keyes called “Suspicions! Lies! And Sweet Potato Pies” as the Lead Character of De’Andre Fellows. He is currently filming the web series called “Detect That” as well as a feature film called “Hidden Light of Shadow”. With numerous films, commercials and stageplays under his belt, there is more to come from Keith Douglas. LaSandra is an  inspirational writer whose motto is: “Everyday is an opportunity to make a difference, be it in your life or in the lives of others”. She believes this can be done through deeds and encouraging words. She also believes her purpose is to inspire and encourage others in their spiritual walk with Christ and relationships with others. As an advocate for openness and honesty, LaSandra believe’s communication is a two-way dialogue and exchange of ideas, where individuals and/or groups can share insights and different perspectives on topics and at the end of the conversation respect one another’s opinion.  LaSandra has always encouraged, inspired and motivated others but never really viewed it as her purpose in life. It was not until she was faced with my own spiritual trial and began writing to encourage herself she realized she could use her talent to further God’s kingdom; hence the birth of her soon to be published book, “From a Christian Perspective: Encouragement for Daily Living”.  LaSandra currently resides in the Spring, TX with her husband Kelvin Collins of 14 years and her two sons Jeremy and Keenan. They also have three other children Karen, Kelsey and Brandon. She received a Master of Business of Administration degree from LeTourneau University and is currently working fulltime.

Snoop Robinson - Play Director

Snoop began his musical career in 1989 at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas where he performed his first concert. From there, he continued his Education at Cedar Valley College where he studied studio technology and became an electrician by trade. He’s an experienced musician, actor, promoter, director and Radio personality. He is also one of the creators and producers of the ALL NEW “Freddy Haynes Unscripted” Radio show on 94.5FM Ksoul or www.945ksoul.com, Sundays from 5pm-7pm CST.  Currently, He is the Director of AV at Friendship-West Baptist Church where Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III is the senior pastor. He has also displayed many of his talents in various areas including film, commercials and theater. In January 2002, he produced, directed and created the concept of the popular play entitled Hidden Betrayals (written by Missy Burton).This production was premiered in Lewisville, Texas at the Catz Theatre and was such a huge success that Actual Illusions Entertainment was invited by Friendship-West Baptist Church located in Dallas, Texas to do a three-day repeat performance in April 2003 and also performed it again in 2008. In 2004 he produced and created the concept of the stage play “Body Parts”. Upon entering a partnership with Ms. Burton, he immediately added the services of technical sound and video taping to the list of services Actual Illusions Entertainment provides. He has also created in collaboration with Dr. Haynes “The Dead Walking” which was premiered at Friendship-West and “Torn Between 2 Lives”. He has worked with actors and artists such as; Irma P. Hall, Carl Pain, Chuck Norris, Yarbrough and Peoples, Willie Hutch, Terron Brooks, Fred Hammond, Deelisha, Miss Lora, Dave Hollister, Tony Grant and many more. He has also been on the Rickey Smiley morning Show doing certain bits. Snoop also took on a challenge of helping Kids and Adults learn Spanish and English with the Yearning 2 Learn Project. Snoop is Also one of the Host of the new Tv Show “The Truth Hurts”.

Amy Cannon Bryant - Stage Manager

 Amy Cannon Bryant, a country girl from Brandon, Mississippi, has long dreamt of becoming an actress.  She began soaring in her acting career in 2009 after landing a role in the stage play, THE CRY OF RACHEL, TODAY which toured in Houston, Dallas and Lewisville TX.  Later during the season of THE CRY OF RACHEL, Amy landed the lead role of Leola. It was under the direction of Vernon “Snoop” Robinson, that Amy developed her diverse craft.  With several performances under her belt such as CUT YOUR LOSS, IT’S A MATTER OF FAITH, A WOMEN’S INTUITION, TELL IT TO YOUR NEXT WIFE, and as a prisoner with fHammond Entertainments, Oak Cliff 97214, and many more, Amy is well on her way to accomplishing great things as she takes charge of the stage with her charming personality.  Amy was recently the Co-host of the live televised talk show on the Genesis Network, “THE TRUTH HURTS”.

When the opportunity was presented to be apart of the Movet Entertainment Team it was a blissful blessing. Understanding and knowing the passion that the writer had was about something that was positive and making changes in individual lives was ver rewarding to me in a personal way. Assisting the CEO and VP of Movet Entertainment open many doors that has enhanced my career. Working with well known artist such as Shirley Murdock, Luther Barnes,Melvin Williams,Miguel Nunez,Angela Blair just to name a few and cast directors such as "Snoop" Robinson and Neita Pitman being apart of the Movet family has brought me in my life success. Cheryl Renee Friday-Williams - Hair Stylist

“When people come first, success will follow.” This is the motto of Ms Cheryl “Nay Nay” Williams, founder of Golden Touch Salon and Enrichment Academy . GTEA is about promoting the restoration of people’s lives’ through skill training. The moral and values of this African American woman, mother sister, friend and strong believer in God is why she gives to and plays a vital role in her community. A native of Austin , Texas, she decided to remain in the city to add beauty and style to the community. She is a 26 years veteran professional hair styling technician and licensed educator /instructor in all aspects of the cosmetology business. “ It is a blessing to have the ability to “create” an image (personal) on an individual to bring out their own self beauty.” The experience and educational knowledge that I have achieved, executed, and learned throughout the years has encouraged my ability and knowledge in an upward direction to be even more successful in my professional career. Cheryl has instructed at Vogue Beauty College as well as Paul Mitchell Academy. God has given me the skills to be a professional Cosmetologist Educator/Instructor and demonstrate with compassion. My thorough caring for the integrity for all types of hair and helping others becoming successful productive individuals with skills and confidence that allow them to get back into mainstream of society. Cheryl has and is a national platform artist, who has achieved recognition from elite stylists, such as Andrea Cheese, Barry Fletcher and Little Willie to name a few. Her determination in achieving her goals makes her go beyond the norm. She has been featured in several hair magazines and auditioned for season 3 of Shear Genius. Cheryl is new to the production scene, but looks forward to expanding her skill base.

Andre Terry - Wardrobe Artist

Andre Terry signature, show stopping designs not only enhances the body to perfection but sets him aside from his peers. He started designing clothes as a hobby at the age of 16 and began featuring them in fashion shows in 1982. Because of the high increased volume of custom work for  his individual clients. Terry started his own company. Its  My Turn (IMT) Designs four years later His collection range from daywear to glamorous one-of-a-kind evening gowns and unique menswear. Durning this period he also toured with the Paul Mitchell Hair Care Show throughout the country and created designs for the FAME Dancers from the popular Television show. “What I thought was a hobby turned into a lucrative career that literally took me by surprise” said Terry. In 1990 the designer teamed up with Melinda Ballard, former publicist for designer Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren. He eventually opened a costume boutique in downtown Austin Tx. As sales soared, Terry increased his staff and moved his operation to Dallas, Tx. He began selling his designs to boutiques and stores throughout the country. In an attempt to reach a larger, more diverse market, Terry added a division that targeted the growing need of the gospel community. Some clients include Hamilton Park First Baptist, St. Luke community United Methodist Church and St. John first Baptist church in Grand Prairie and Gospel artist Kirk Franklin’s gods Property to name a few. He also designed outfits for Mrs. Jakes, wife of Bishop TD Jakes of the Potters House. Terry is a native of Austin, Texas and says his talent comes from his grandmother who helped him develop his craft. He was destined to become a designer, because according to his grandmother he use to sleep under her sewing machine. Currently his company offers designs in four division Men, Women, Bridal and church and are priced from $200.00 to $1,900.00. His designs have been worn by entertainers such as Monica Calhoun, Kim Fields, Angie Stone, Dave Hollister, Leon and Vanessa Williams to name a  few. He spent several years designing costumes for Shucky Ducky ringmaster for the Universoul circus. He was the DOTY designer of the year in 2004. his knowledge of fashion style and image development has given him the opportunity to travel the country touring and doing costume design withNaiotnal plays such as Friends and lovers  and Issues starting some of Hollywood’s most talented stars. “What makes my clothes so unique is their versatility and flexibility they can be worn more than one way” he said. Once you wear a Terry design it speaks for itself.

Regina Salazar - Make-Up Artist

Regina Salazar was born in Dallas Tx. to Virginia Guerra Cobb. She has four beautiful children and one grandaughter. Make-up is her passion,I she has been blessed to be doing make-up for 20+ years. She has had the oppourtunity to do make-up for celebrities. God has blessed her with this talent and she very appreciative for that.
