Play Synopsis

There Is One In Every Family is an exciting and stimulating drama that positively accents the lives of four African-American men living in everyday America dealing with real person struggles. Love conquers all and time heals all wounds; but what happens when love is not enough and time runs out? The only common denominator that ties four brothers together is the love they share for their Mama Cora. The expectation at her funeral is for everyone to put their feelings and differences aside for one weekend so that their mother can be laid to rest. Easier said than done; for in the midst of mourning the brothers must dig deep to work through lies, betrayal and a family secret that is sure to tear the already grieving family to pieces.

There Is One In Every Family will be presented, October 13, 2009 thru October 18, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the Majestic Theatre located at 1925 Elm Street Dallas, TX 75201.  Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Majestic Box Office, located in the Majestic Theatre.  Tickets can also be purchased online through the Majestic website or Ticketmaster or by calling Ticketmaster by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Tickets may also be purchased by going to one of Ticketmaster Outlets:  Foley’s, Fiesta, and the Majestic Box Office and Wherehouse Music locations.  Tickets may also be purchased the night of the event at the Majestic Theatre.
