Play Synopsis

A dramatic play which entails the many "Faces" of one "Woman’s" journey through her life of final awareness of who she is through the precious love of her Lord and Savior. After attending this play, you will want to stop and take a look at your Faces in the Mirror.  You may be surprised at the many Faces you have survived! As the story unfolds, Faces of molestation, rape, and abuse, interfamily racism, loss of a child, near death experiences and even talks with "Ole Satan" himself will occur.

Satan comes as a "Reflection" in the Mirror. In many ways he comes as a thief who steals the most precious gift of a young girl, her virginity.  He steals her identity as a person within a family of men. Molestation, he tries to beat her down with brutal beatings by the man whom she loved.  He incites racism within the family by creating an environment whereby her high yellow skin color labels her as a white girl. Through these deeds, Satan hoped that he would be able to take her from her family of 10 siblings so that she would be all alone.

Fortunately, none of those deeds work. However, Satan does not stop there. He next takes her baby girl’s life.  Then he rears his ugly ole head and tries to take her and her sons lives, and when that does not work, he thinks that by inflicting a grave illness on her that “I got her now”!

Many times throughout life we face the mirrors of life and we see only what we want to see. As the play progresses, it will reveal how we see the mirrors of life and in those mirrors we see so much pain that we dare not stare too long for the reflections will reveal Faces of a painful past. The play will show how each time a woman of God stares in the Mirrors she sees the words "No Weapons Performed against Me Shall Prosper". It will show how throughout the "Faces" in her life she discovers how she has kept her sanity and her life by discovering there are no Faces of Demons that are too great for a “Woman of God”.

In the end, you will see that “Faces” are merely reflections in the Mirror of a Saved Woman who survived the many “Faces of Life”!
